Alcohol Soluble Polyamides
These polyamides are designed to be soluble in ethanol or a blend of alcohols and have very good ester tolerance. It is generally more compatible with nitrocellulose than the co-solvent or alcohol-reducible types and offers better low-temperature gel resistance and recovery. The improved compatibility with nitrocellulose allows the formulation of printing inks with high heat resistance for heat-seal applications.
Trusted Supplier
Kraton has been manufacturing UNI-REZ™ polyamides for more than 40 years.
Co-Solvent Polyamides
These polyamides are designed to be soluble in blends of alcohols or blends of alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbon co-solvents. It can be formulated to give systems excellent adhesion, pigment wetting and gloss, fast solvent release, and resistance to water, chemicals, and deep freeze conditions.
Global Availability
Our chemicals are designed for specific product performance needs and are available worldwide.
Resins for Laminating Inks
These resins are designed to be soluble in a blend of alcohols. They provide prints with a fast solvent release for low retained solvent and good adhesion to various substrates used for flexible packaging.
