Enhanced Design Recyclability
To improve the recyclability of plastic products at the end of their initial life cycle, many global brand owners are shifting to a mono-material approach. Fully processable CirKular+ additives enable upcycling of PCR by enhancing mechanical properties and supporting polyolefin-based mono-material product designs. Plastic resins modified with CirKular+ show better reusability after undergoing multiple cycles of mechanical recycling due to minimal degradation of physical properties compared to unmodified resins.
CirKular+ C2000 and C3000 have received the Recyclass technology approval the APR critical guidance recognition for use in HDPE, and PP containers as recyclable.

Reuse of Contaminated Plastic Waste
CirKular+ Compatibilization Series enables the reuse of incompatible mixed plastics recycling streams for mechanical recycling, allowing to divert them from landfills (e.g., polyolefins/polyamides or PET, polyamides/PET,). CirKular+ compatibilizers offer excellent adhesion by minimizing phase separation of recyclates during processing. This capability delivers universal compatibilization of previously incompatible materials and difficult-to-recycle engineering polymers. They also help divert mixed PCR streams from landfills.
Bioplastics Performance Enhancement
CirKular+ products increase customer flexibility to use alternative bioplastic materials, such as polylactic acid (PLA). PLA performance enhancement is delivered through superior mechanical properties critical for high-performance applications. CirKular+ products improve impact strength and elongation and reduce torque and electricity use associated with processing. High formulation efficiency and FDA food-contact clearance make CirKular+ the ideal additive for food packaging applications.
